I used five sources to extract forms in this painting: torn pieces of paper, web-found images of bare trees, children’s coloring pages, square grids and metal webs. These sources are commonly found in daily life, but they are not in a coherent context. I dismantled their recognizable forms, de-contextualized them and rearranged them to create a painting as merged layers of heterogeneity.
